Blood splattered white chocolate covered strawberries, an easy and elegant addition to your party menu. They only take 15-20 minutes to make and are a great summer snack.
White chocolate candy melts
Strawberries with stems, washed and dried
Microwave safe bowl to melt the chocolate
Red cake decorating icing
Wash and dry all the strawberries. Make sure they are completely dry before you start melting the chocolate.
Melt the chocolate in a microwave safe bowl. Be sure to only heat the chocolate for 30 seconds at a time so you don’t burn it.
Lay out a long sheet of wax paper (Parchment paper).
Holding the strawberry by the stem, dip the fruit into the chocolate, lift and twist slightly, letting any excess chocolate fall back into the bowl.
Set strawberries on the parchment paper.
Repeat with the rest of the strawberries.
Finally, use your red cake decorating icing to add your blood splatters on to the white chocolate the dipped strawberries. Allow about 30 minutes for the chocolate to set and then enjoy!
Refrigerate the left overs.
