We have been coming up with some True Blood parties with a twist for y'all. This is the first in a series of different party inspiration boards we will be sharing.
The inspiration for this party came from Jessica Hamby's sexy Red Riding Hood costume she wore in Season 4.
An array of natural items like apples, moss, pine cones, tree branches, natural wood slabs, flowers, etc. make decorating for this party a cinch ....and it won't break the bank! Add red and white checkered tablecloths and napkins, burlap, some large glassware to fill with colorfully red apples, Grandma's cookie jar and some baskets to finish off your tablescape.
Highlight your food and baked goods by serving them up on these DIY natural tree stands as shown below. You can make them one, two or even three levels high. A mixture of them will look stunning on any table.
Wicker baskets can be used to serve up individually packed lunches or they can be filled with delicious treats and sent home with each of your guests to say "Thank You!"
A variety of sandwiches, chips, fruits, nuts, and vegetable tray are just a few ideas of what to fill your guests up on. Serve your favorite beverages in mason jars to give a wholesome Grandma's house feel. Be creative and have fun with it!
This woodland party will beckon for even the BIG BAD WOLF to come join in on the fun! If you get lucky, maybe that wolf will be Alcide!
