It's Tasty Tuesday!

Tasty Tuesday@northmanspartyvamps.com

This past Sunday night at the Bellefleur mansion, we found poor Arlene toting a bottle of cognac in one hand and a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon in the other. She is totally distraught with losing Terry and she is tore up from the floor up! Trying to drown her pain in alcohol seems to be working for her as she exclaims,  “You know, before, it was like someone was… scalping my brain away one slice at a time and plucking out my heart with one of those little crab forks. But now, thanks to this (the alcohol), it just feels like someone’s crushing my windpipe.” Hopefully, Arlene will soon find some peace.

Even though it was sad to see Arlene having to get drunk to cope with losing Terry, she made a very funny drunk with some really funny lines. This week's recipe is an ode to Arlene's drunken stupor.

ARLENE'S DRUNKEN BEER BUNDT CAKE@northmanspartyvamps.com

INGREDIENTS

FOR CAKE
1 box yellow cake mix
1 box vanilla pudding mix
1 cup of beer
½ cup vegetable oil
4 large eggs

FOR GLAZE
½ cup of beer
1⅓ cups white sugar
2 tbs butter

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease bundt pan and sprinkle with a pinch of the yellow cake mix.
Sift cake mix and pudding mix together into a large bowl.
Add in beer, oil, eggs and mix with by hand until smooth.
Pour batter into prepared bundt pan.
Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until toothpick inserted into center of the cake comes out clean, rotating pan around the 17 minute mark.
While cake is cooling on wire rack, melt butter, remaining beer, and white sugar in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
Poke holes in the bottom of the cake while it’s still in the bundt pan. Spoon glaze on top and around the sides of the pan. Let sit for 5-10 minutes.
Flip cake out of pan onto foil covered wire rack.
Spoon glaze over cake. Allow to cool completely. Spoon more glaze on top if desired.
Enjoy!
